Goblin Pyromancer is really good as a finisher. It gets even more fun when you combine it with Patriarch's Bidding. Goblin Assassin can be good as you often have more expendable creatures than your opponent. Patron of the Akki is just a good card for goblins in general.

Asmodeus deck idea: a deck that tries to generate mountains of mana with rituals in a single turn. Activate his draw seven ability in response to itself as many times as possible. Before they resolve, use a sac outlet on him. Let all of the draw abilities resolve.

Asmodeus is baaasically griselbrand, right? I was thinking no this subject, and I found a clunky combo with wood elemental. You have a Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth, a Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, and a Kormus Bell. Cast Reins of Power, switching your lands with your opponents lands. Then cast a decent-sized wood elemental, sacrificing all of your opponents lands. Then you get all of your lands back at the end of your turn.

Honestly, I think that the only “fair” companions are Umori, the Collector and Lutri, the Spellchaser based off of how much worse it makes your deck. I’m expecting all companions banned except for these two eventually. Looting deserved an unban.

Fun combo: Clever Conjurer and any name sticker effect allows it to untap itself infinitely.

As a Dimir control player, I think that the Precon is a nice gateway to get people of the Azorius control and do different colors.

Think about nadu. Was it a “good and clever strategy?” Yes. Was in broken and led ridiculously long combo turns? Yes. Did it get banned to prevent this? Yes.
