Started playing magic not to long ago (just before RTR came out). Deck making is one of the biggest things that drew me to this game. You can make any casual fun deck you want with hundreds of different possibilities. Money is always a constraint on standard tournaments and super serious decks, but you learn how to make do. You need to understand what to expect opponents to do, and make counters for that when making your main deck and sideboard. Synergy and flow of a deck is the most important thing above all things, and achieving this goal is #1 priority.
