Thank you capwner! The Reveillark/Karmic Guide loop is one of my old favorites since each piece can do so much work on its own. I took out Leonin Relic-Warder, because each time I'd have one of Animate Dead style auras, I felt like I was saving it for the combo, instead using it as intended.

As I continue working on the primer, I'm going to add a section about Bracket intention. I try to aim for 3 generally, but am eager to see how the Bracket criteria gets updated in April.

The GC is to denote Game Changers from the beta version of the new Bracket System.

I also wanted to commend you on including Kulrath Knight. That's one of the favorite cards of my best friend that got me into MtG. Some of my earliest MtG memories are getting wrecked by his BR Wither deck, sometime around 2013 lol.

The knight subtheme is cool. I have a few random thoughts more than suggestions:

• Since Garland's first ability triggers off non-creature spells, would you consider something like Birgi, God of Storytelling  ^Flip? She could help with chaining your cheaper non-creature spells.

• Untimely Malfunction could be a helpful utility piece, especially clearing out blockers for your Voltron-y stuff.

• Sazacap's Brew occupies a kinda similar space as options like Demand Answers & Thrill of Possibility.

• "Further cards that I deem worthy are things that make reference to Chaos", surprised I don't see Chaos Warp in here lol.

• Not to cross IPs too much, but Brotherhood Regalia could also be a fun equipment piece for Garland.

Go all in Andramalech! I'm guessing that Auron will probably be a Boros equipment support/payoff card in the Cloud precon lol.

Those are great points MindBoogaloo. Lol Those were the first 2 Doublestrike-y cards I could think of off the top. I'll make edits after some more play-test reps. My gut tells me that I can swap one of the control focused creatures in the 2-3 cmc slot for Bruse.

Thanks for checking the deck out MindBoogaloo, that's a good question. When I've played similar commanders to Terra, I tend to prioritize protective effects more than combat tricks & double strike. I know Fireshrieker & Battle Mastery options are out there.

I tend to save that type of stuff for more Voltron dedicated decks. I see this one more as a reanimator midrange value with a combo option.

Andramalech, given the treatment that some of the other tentpole UBs like LotR & Fallout received, I'm sure FF fans will have a lot to be excited about. The stuff they've previewed so far looks great.

I'm personally a bit more excited for Tarkir & Edge of Eternity, so I'll likely hold off on brewing any other FF commanders lol. Dibs honored!

I'm super excited for the return to Tarkir. Theros and Tarkir were brand new planes when I first started playing and getting into MtG.

Nice Andramalech! I'll admit that I didn't play much of the FF games growing up. My most extensive exposure came from the cameos some of the characters made in Kingdom Hearts & Kingdom Hearts 2. Beyond that I watched my cousins play plenty of FF X & FF XV. Regardless I'm interested in the designs for this set, especially with what we've seen from some of the other big UB sets so far.

I have a hunch that Terra's precon will have Party subtheme, given that she already has 2 of the 4 types. I'm interested in who the alt commanders are for each precon, I wonder if the alts will be villains.

Sick deck! Idk if you've seen it yet, but there is a way in the editing features to indicated the Bracket level of a deck; it's under the Deck Hubs and above the deck description box. It will also add decks to a Bracket level hub with others of the same level.

I was finishing the prompt of "Make a card from a franchise you like" when LunchBox1211 posted their card. Follow their prompt of "make a singular creature card that represents all 4 Pevensie kids while they were Kings and Queens of Narnia".

DemonDragonJ, I'd recommend reading Gavin's article if you haven't already. Each Bracket has a more detailed description about the deck building intention of it, when taken into consideration of the criteria for card inclusions/exclusions, gives us a fuller picture of the current starting point. I wouldn't say these are strict rules as much as they are a communication tool/guideline for communicating deck building intentions.

I'd like to think that the Bracket distributions amongst brewers is kinda like a bell curve, where most decks will likely fall in the Bracket 3 range of being upgraded, but not nearly as optimized as the stuff in B4 and B5. Bracket 5 is cEDH, and is the most no holds barred/optimized for a specific competitive tournament-focused meta. Bracket 4 is the most optimized without building for a specific tournament-focused meta.

In all likelihood, most of your decks will be in B2 & B3. B1 decks are going to be super casual theme focused decks (People sitting in chairs, everyone facing left/right, etc).

These Brackets will likely get more specific over time, especially as more cards get added to the Game Changers list.

I should have a bit more info in my last response regarding Bracket assignment changes. Where the Brackets are listed on deck pages, users can hover over the category to open up a hover pop-up window with explanation of the classification. The listing also highlights which Game Changers or other Bracket criteria are currently being met.

If a user changes their classification to better suit their intentions, the hover pop up will state that the creator of the deck manually changed the deck classification.

Dadbod81 & Abaques, the way Brackets are working on other deckbuilder sites is that decks are auto-assigned a minimum possible Bracket, based on meeting criteria. For example, decks with at least 2 Game Changers are assigned a minimum of a Br3. Users then have the option to adjust their Bracket to their own deck building intentions.
