Hey guys my name is Deckologist or Doc for short. I earned this nickname mostly due to my profession and for the fact that I love to open up the innards of decks and help them work even better. I'm always down to throw deck ideas back and forth and love having think tank sessions on the decks I've created.

I have had the pleasure of playing with notable Magic players thanks to my location and my love of commander. Through all of the games that I have sat down to play I have more than ever grown to love the number one rule of commander:

Pretty short and sweet. If you have to ask yourself "will my play group hate me if I do this?" the answer is a most definite yes.

This is a theory of mine that I have found most accurately portrays the different stages of an EDH player. The newer players will always be looking for that first win. They will do anything for it which usually means they will resort to infinite combos. After a while these players will want to see if they have what it takes to play a "legit" EDH deck and then work on several other ideas over a few years until they finally come to the conclusion that playing for fun is probably the best way to play. Something to always keep in mind though is that the older players you combo off on as a new player can very easily make you wish you never picked up your first deck.

I am here to help any players build stronger and more synergistic decks in the game Magic: The Gathering. I will always be here for advice and it should be an open forum on my wall of deck ideas and plans at all times. SERIOUSLY, load my wall up with anything and everything you want as far as that goes. There will be times where I have every intention of helping with a deck and simply just forget or don't have the time. I promise its not you, its my job and real life issues. If for some reason I don't get back to you try sending me a short message or tagging me in a post on your deck to remind me to come look at it. send me a message every day giving me attitude for not checking up on your deck. Also I am a fair and balanced guy, but if I see you treating someone without respect as a player you're gonna have a bad day.

As stated above I love helping people, especially new players. With that being said, I WILL NOT build a deck for you, let you copy mine or anyone else's deck to call your own, answer your every beck and call. Its simple. I will openly help anyone that needs it as long as my help is not demanded.
