Why Does Enlist …...

Caerwyn, I see, and now that makes sense, so I can begrudgingly agree that enlist having that restriction does help with balancing it, and preventing it from being too powerful

Why is Thunder …...

As much as I dislike the reserved list, I shall acknowledge that some cards deserve to be on it, because of how powerful they are, such as the "power nine" or the original ten dual lands, but I wonder why Thunder Spirit is on the reserved list, since it is not especially powerful, being merely a 2/2 creature with flying and first strike for only 3 mana, so it definitely feels rather unusual, being on the list. If that card was not on the reserved list, it could have been reprinted, and been a staple of white decks, for all these years, so I definitely would like to ask everyone else here for their opinions, on this matter.
What does everyone else say, about this subject? Why is Thunder Spirit on the reserved list, and, as an additional question, why has WotC not reprinted Sky Spirit more frequently, since it is the closest creature to thunder spirit in the game?

I have replaced Cruel Ultimatum and Titanic Ultimatum with Unite the Coalition and Coalition Victory, which did increase the average converted mana cost of this deck from 4.42 to 4.43, but that is an acceptable increase, since that change also improved the balance of colors in this deck by removing numerous colored mana symbols from the total casting costs of cards in this deck; I shall leave Ruinous Ultimatum in this deck, for the present time, since it is an excellent card that is too good to not include in any deck that supports its colors.

Star Wars, Episode …...
#4
This year is the twentieth anniversary of Revenge of the Sith, the third installment of the Star Wars prequel trilogy and the sixth film overall in the main series. The previous two films in the prequel trilogy, The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, had been very divisive among the Star Wars fandom, because the fans regarded them as being poorly written in comparison to the original trilogy, especially with how they portrayed Anakin Skywalker as a whining and angsty adolescent and their nearly suffocating focus on political tension, so expectations for this film understandably were very mixed, with some fans worrying that the prequel trilogy would not have a satisfactory conclusion and others hoping that this film would avoid the curse that seemed to have affected many third film installments around that time, including X-Men 3, Spiderman 3, Shrek the Third, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.
Thankfully, the majority of viewers concluded that this film was one of the rare instances in which the third film in a trilogy was the best, which speaks of how poorly audiences received the previous two films, but I still believe that the prequels were not as bad as some people initially regarded them (to be certain, they are not nearly as good as are the original films, but they still had numerous positive points, and I can credit them for trying new ideas, rather than merely repeating the original trilogy, as did the sequel trilogy). Although Anakin was still an angsty adolescent in this film, he was not nearly as whiny as he was in the previous film, and, in scenes in which he either does not speak or has minimal dialogue, Hayden Christensen actually delivers very emotionally powerful performances, especially with his facial expressions and body language. The entire film has a very dark and bleak tone, as it tells the final chapter in the story of how Anakin fell to the dark side of the force and became Darth Vader, but that audiences were expecting that, and enjoyed it, for that reason.
I believe that the majority of the actors in the film gave spectacular performances, most notably Samuel L. Jackson as Mace Windu, Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ian McDiarmid as Chancellor Palpatine, and especially Christopher Lee as count Dooku/Darth Tyrannus, and, on that subject, one of the few major complaints that I have about the movie is that Dooku had far too little screen time, so, if I had made that movie, I definitely would have given count Dooku a more prominent role in the movie, likely removing general Grievous to make room for Dooku's increased role, since I felt that general Grievous was completely unnecessary, although I suppose that Christopher Lee's age may have been a factor in Dooku's reduced prominence in this movie. I also disliked how Padme's prominence in this film was reduced, as she was a very competent fighter and political leader in the previous two films, but was largely a source of emotional drama and turmoil for Anakin, in this film, although I suppose that that change in her character worked with the very bleak and depressing atmosphere of this movie. Also, I do not wish to complain excessively, about this film, but I felt that Yoda and Chewbacca being friends ruined continuity that the original trilogy had previously established, since Han Solo did not believe in the existence of the Jedi and the force, despite Chewbacca being able to easily prove the existence of both.
I recall being very excited to see this film during my senior year of high school, as it would be not only the conclusion of the prequel trilogy, but also the final installment (at the time) of the entire Star Wars saga (not counting all of the expanded universe media), providing a complete story for audiences to enjoy. While I do agree with the majority of audiences that the prequel trilogy was not nearly as good as was the original trilogy, it still was an entertaining series of movies that helped to provide the backstory of the characters and events that the original trilogy depicted (even if such a backstory was not entirely necessary, and the original trilogy certainly had its own flaws, as well), so I am very glad that I saw those movies. The legacy of the prequel trilogy has been a very controversial one, but I believe that the positive aspects of those films outweigh their negative aspects, so I do hope that Lucasfilm shall do something to commemorate this most momentous milestone, as it deserves to be memorialized.
What does everyone else say, about this? How do you feel about this year being the twentieth anniversary of Revenge of the Sith?

Caerwyn, I suppose that that makes sense, although I feel that an additional 3 mana is a worthwhile price for an increase of 3 power.

I think that enlist is a very interesting mechanic, as it is, in some ways, a fixed version of banding, but I find myself wondering why it needs to have the "without summoning sickness" clause, since I cannot see any good reason for it to have the clause; surely, the ability would not be too powerful if it did not have that restriction?
What does everyone else say, about this subject? Why does enlist have the "without summoning sickness" clause? I certainly am interested to hear your feedback, about this.

Now that Coalition Victory is unbanned in EDH, I wonder if I should put it into this deck, but that may make winning too easy, so I am not certain if I should risk attracting the wrath of my opponents, by using that card.

With today's banned and restricted announcement, I have removed Braids, Cabal Minion, Coalition Victory, Gifts Ungiven, Panoptic Mirror, and Sway of the Stars from this list, and, as a side note, I do not at all agree with Braids being unbanned, since she was banned for a very good reason.

I have replaced Dictate of Karametra and Sphere of Safety with Baird, Steward of Argive and Ms. Bumbleflower, which reduced the average converted mana cost of this deck from 3.48 to 3.45, because I feel that the newer cards better match the theme of this deck.

hyalopterouslemur, I agree that I am not pleased with Coalition Victory being unbanned, because that card is much too easy to use, and I also am not pleased with Aura Shards and Seedborn Muse being added to the list of game changers, since I use those two cards in many of my decks, so those decks shall move to higher brackets, even without me changing then, at all, and I am very displeased with Braids, Cabal Minion being unbanned, since she originally was banned for a very good reason.

Thank you for the information, and it certainly is nice that WotC has acknowledged that both of those cards were major mistakes, rather than attempting to pretend that they were not overpowered.

Bookrook, yes, I agree that this was an opportunity to give Nimbus Maze a complete cycle, so I am still hoping for that, at some point, especially considering that the allied-colored verges have names that refer to specific locations on Duskmourn (while the enemy-colored verges do not, which is very interesting).

I know that you were referring to a feature on this forum, but I wonder if WotC still playtests card before printing them, because I cannot imagine how anyone at WotC could have thought that either Oko, Thief of Crowns or Nadu, Winged Wisdom were even remotely balanced, before they released those cards.

In this post, Mark Rosewater said that it is not likely that WotC shall print ten new verges, with the primary and secondary colors switched, so I wondering why that is; why is it that the existing verges favor one color over another, and what good reason is there to not make ten new verges?
What does everyone else say, about this? Why is WotC unlikely to print ten new verges, with the primary and secondary colors switched?

After much deliberation, I have decided that Shiko and Narset, Unified is the best match for my deck, because, while all three cards are excellent, Flamehold Grappler is a one-time effect and Narset, Enlightened Exile is too dependent upon the contents of graveyards to be reliable, but Shiko and Narset, Unified is both reliable and repeatable, so I shall be glad to put them into that deck.

Some players, including myself, were displeased that the defeat of the original dragonlords on Tarkir was not shown directly in the story, and that the story skipped ahead to after the clans had re-established themselves, but some other players liked that decision, since they felt that it would have been a waste of time to tell the story of the defeat of the dragonlords in detail and they preferred to focus on the re-emergence of the khans. WotC themselves said that they learned that lesson from Battle for Zendikar, since players missed the adventure world of the original Zendikar block during the return to the plane of Zendikar, but the original Zendikar block ended with the emergence of the Eldrazi, so there was no way to avoid the battle against them, since it would have been very poor storytelling to skip the battle against them, in my mind.
What does everyone else say, about this? Should WotC have skipped the battle against the Eldrazi and simply pretended that it never occurred, or was it better to show the battle in detail? I certainly am very interested to hear your opinions, on this matter.

veritablecvn already provided you a link about Nadu, but I wanted to respond about Oko, Thief of Crowns as well.
Wizards was pretty open about what happened with Oko - essentially Wizards did playtest it, but were too much inside their headspace. The problematic ability - the +1, was designed to build up your own board by turning low-value food tokens into creatures. During playtesting, Wizards extensively used the ability for its intended purpose, and it was fine.
Except for one little problem - they were so focused on its intended purpose, they did not realize it also acted as a removal spell. That error was a bit silly, but silly in the kind of way that can sometimes happen when a group of people all look at something for too long, and all collectively get focused on what they think it says, instead of what it does.
