In a galaxy, far, far away...

I started playing Magic: The Gathering around Rise of the Eldrazi Era. My cousins introduced me: bought me an intro deck and versed me with their umbra and planeswalker decks. Cried, lost everytime, so I stopped. But, recently, with them going off to work, and with my creativity expanding, I visited the hobby again. Here I am now, playing competitive, while they're stuck at their decks. GameDay, FNM, PTQ, GPTs, it's all been a fun ride. Right now, I prefer playing standard. For one, its easier to make decks AND my opponents are limited to just a few expansions in the format. It's fun messing around with the meta-game too, whereas Modern and Legacy are all run by Affinity and all the other expensive sh*t.

If I could give a name to my deck-building style, it would be "Modified Meta". I like taking the meta game decks, inserting some unlikely cards, combining different combos, and making things work.
