I'm here to compare, observe, create. I have been playing MTG off and on since I was 8 years old, back in 2001. My parents played, I was smart so they allowed me to join them at the table late on the weekends.

I was given a bunch of cards to get started, and climbed my way up from there. I didn't start playing competitive until I was 18. I went to a comic shop one day and saw people were playing FNM, once I learned what it was I started going. This was during the Innistrad block.

I became familiar with RTR and made a brutal Esper Control deck. I believe my match record was 56-11 or something near it. I was virtually unbeatable, and there were competitive players at the shop.

I'd love to hear your MTG stories, comment on my decks and let me know what you think could be improved. I'll try to do the same for you! This includes standard and EDH. Working my way into the Modern scene.
