Nifty! First timer, ehh? Idk if you've actually played this deck but chances are you're going to have a tough time playing simply with that mana curve. Loads of 4 and 5 drops... ouch. An average deck has around 8-12 4 drops and 5-7 5 drops. And you kinda want less and less the higher the cost of the card. Unless the piece is essential, run it anyway. Your 2's and 3's are your avg CMC, typically you want more 2 drops over 3's but this is interchangeable, especially considering deck needs, etc. Also, yes it's 100 cards, but no commander deck really needs more than a third lands (29-33). Any more and you just have excess clumps of lands. Thinning this out will be better and you will see lands more frequently; less is indeed more here.

Haha yeah Necramus and a lot of it comes down to fitting enough things to blink and have the right ratio of blinks as well. Ironically I kept having accidental good luck with Oji personally. Before I knew it I've cast a few spells or more with her out. Seemed deec in testing but this deck is no more. It's quite linear. Cool, yes, strong, ehh... Plenty of golems sure, but ehh just rather boring. And I would go spots where there werent blinks when I needed them or vice versa. The artifact theme almost gets in the way as much as it aids too. Need 120 cards lol.

Wow Necramus... those are solid ideas! Typically (as I've already been there done that blah blah) I am trying to steer away from combo for this build as I dont see it worth enough to go all out, just a fun time grinding golems. Brago himself is where i had to keep my distance at least in the command zone bc the deck was going to be helmed by him with just generic good ETB token stuffs. Even cards like Ichor Wellspring. Brago in the 99? Yeah! Forgot to add him honestly bc i was so busy trying to avoid him lol. The other blink stuff are definitely good as i simply dont have a charmed prince and overlooked Yurion as well lol. Though, It quickly becomes all about Yorion once she's out and you gotta play around her pattern well. But definitely awesome. I have a few blue kitties as well, maybe i can swap Oji...? Lastly, Helm of the Host was jokingly considered while going through my books, but opted out bc for years i have tried playing that card and it either costs too much, i dont need it, or it gets removed on sight. So it may as well not exist in my life. Much like Mimic Vat. Just never works in my favor lol.

I have a strong feeling this will end up as Brago, however, he jut has all the blink spells in one card versus trying to fit 15 or so blinkers in the deck, plus doing stuff.deck.

Hahaha indeed! Trying a weird one--artifact splicer blink. The flavor is too juicy to ignore. Necramus I think i will try Roon if i'm longing for the green splicer bois and/or this doesnt pan. Having 3/3 golem creation in the CZ was the tantalizing incentive otherwise.

Yo Necramus, defeinitely man. I heard it slaps and super fun. Crow_Umbra hate to but in, but I would suggest to your friends that Hashaton is very much cEDH. Lots consider him to be this power level. While, Temmet is about as good as it gets casually. :)

Yo NV_1980 Uhhh I would say yes generally but specifically in Nevy you want as little artifacts as possible. But definitely good to think about, even if they existed for one turn. But usually in terms of blinking we can sac/rean Nevy whenever.

Well yes, he already exists AS the BumbleBee card but they took an "original" design and inadvertently created said character, which makes it funny/the joke.

I hear ya lol. Then sounds like you have a new top mono black on our side :) Konrad is groovy, still holding his own in 2025. No matter how Konrad is built, he will just draw the hate. He's just kinda the ultimate aristocrat (even though we know that title goes to Artist/Cutthroat), Konrad just does it all. Fun fact; idk why, been playing Konrad since release and only just last week someone finally exiled my graveyard. Ha... Konrad triggered a lot from that so it just furthered things in my favor lol. Be that as it may, mono black decks have to be the most fun to build and play, regardless of power.

No, that's respect man you do you. And that's the thing about the game that is amazing--you don't need to play the best, or what's known as the best commander options to make a great deck. Personality and expression are utilized very well in MTG. And I personally believe there is more merit in making a deck that is or was considered lesser or an underdog, and making it good or great even. Anyone of us can slap together an Urza, Godo, or Tymna list with all the best staples, rocks, and draw--is it pricey and expensive? yes--but winning with the absolute best is, how do I say, meh...? Also, a full pod of cEDH just devolves to regular commander where every one is at the same power level. It in fact then becomes "fair commander." And an infinite war of counterspells on the stack... But I digress, I think you're doing a fine thing and I'm here for it. You just happened to initially tell me Zul might be better than Konrad or anything else while i was simultaneously talking with one in my pod on the phone. I read aloud and the convo sparked there...
