I've been playing magic since Dark Ascension came out (January 2012).

After a long hiatus (starting at DGM) I've decided to get back into this hobby, 'legitimately'. I never truly felt like I left, but for that time I didn't keep up with standard, and only really played gimmicky games with friends.

For a long time after this hiatus, I've been in a sort of transitory state: not being fully able to keep up with Standard, and not quite having the card pool for Modern. However, now I feel like I'm finding my way, and am slowly coming to terms with both formats.

As far as what I enjoy in the hobby, Zombies are my thing, followed by Artifacts. Check out the decks on my profile if you're interested, they're probably the best combinations of cards I've put together for quite some time. Dimir is probably my favourite Two Colour Combination, with either Grixis or Esper being my favourite Three Colour one.

Drafting is now my preferred format. I like the way it removes the obstacle of card pools from games. If you lose a game, you can't put it down to "my opponent has more cards than me / spent more money than me, etc", which is something that I found myself saying quite a lot. Losing a round in limited comes down to player skill, and a small, almost minuscule, amount of luck or lack thereof. I find drafts very enjoyable, and if you'd like to discuss pick choices, powerful cards, or anything like that, I'd certainly love to do so.
