Deckling -

My girlfriend and I are casual MtG players trying to improve our decks, strategies and Magic knowledge to branch into tournament play and get in on all the FNM fun.

We'd love to play some Two-Headed Giant games and I'm becoming more and more intrigued by the Commander format.

We're both relatively new to MtG, picking it up at the beginning of the Innistrad cycle. So we're ill-equipped to leave the Standard format. She prefers to play White and Green and I'm more inclined to Mono-Black. Please comment and give us any advice on our decks, and how to improve them against any substantial threats in the current meta.
