I am very much a casual player, and I pretty much only play EDH (though I've recently been convinced by my brother to create at least 1 Type 2 Standard deck so that we can play every now and then). I personally feel that the EDH format is the way MTG was originally meant to be played, back when I first started playing it in the mid-90's, and with the introduction of its format, it makes it fun for me to play again.

I build decks that are budget-friendly and basically just beat-down. I don't own a ton of cards, though I have access to quite a few from various friends and relatives, so what goes in my decks are just what I can get ahold of. It is very rare that I will purchase a card specifically for a deck. I also hate infinite loop combos, so you will never see my decks playing those, even though I play Bant (which is notorious for the Revillark combo).

My favorite deck is by far my Rafiq of the Plague deck, which I win with fairly regularly when playing against the casual players I enjoy playing with.
