I'm Jay. I'm going to be attending Willamette University in the class of 2020, majoring in Comparative Literature and the History of Ideas (French and Russian). I'm into music and literature a lot. My favorite author is Nabokov. I also appreciate the Beats and Russians a lot. I could never decide on a favorite musician, though, because my taste is very ecclectic so I can't aptly represent it all in one. Shoegaze is my favorite genre. According to my Spotify year-in-review for 2015, Sufjan Stevens was my most listened-to artist (over 1200 plays this year). I listened to almost 60 days' worth of music in 2015. I play the bass, but I'm not in a band currently. Also the Contrabass Clarinet, which is almost as tall as me. I'm 6'1".

I used to call myself a primarily White player, but I just play whatever catches my interest. I like graveyard interactions, so this leads to a lot of B, G, and W. I don't really enjoy U, but it has its moments.

As far as decks, I generally play one of three things:

-A wack combo deck or otherwise just-barely-fringe-playable gimmick. (This 90% of the time)

-A weenie-based aggro-control strategy (Hatebears, Dead Guy Ale, Death and Taxes, and so forth).

-Pox, Stax, or similar

My favorite mtg artist is Howard Lyon followed by Terese Nielsen and Rebecca Guay. Lyon's art on Make a Wish is my all-time favorite, and I collect it. If we trade, feel welcome to throw one in for my collection!

My prized card is my Foil Angel of Flight Alabaster, signed in silver pen by Howard Lyon. Just so damn pretty.

I used to delete decks all the time, but really just can't be bothered now. If you're looking for one that vanished let me know.
