I began my days of MTG with an M11 booster box in June 2010. In this set a little-known card called Knight Exemplar was first printed and I fell in love with white. In fact, white has been the primary colour that I have used ever since.
My favourite format is Modern. The depth and complexity of the potential strategies available in this format allows for a great deal of creativity. I have been exploring in Modern with aggro and control variants. The defensive AND offensive capabilities of white combined with another support colour can make for amazing strategies - in particular those that are Boros, Azorius or Selesnya in design.
I do also play standard, although not as much as I used to since Scars of Mirrodin. I love the thrill of pre-release events for new sets and attend as many as I can. I have since played magic in tournaments at competitive, soul-crushing levels, but more often than not my games have been casual or casual-competitive with friends.
