I started with a Khans of Tarkir around the time Battle for Zendikar was relatively new, but I didn't do much with Oath of the Gatewatch. Insead I went as far back as Return to Ravnica and then dove deep into Shadows Over Innistrad. When I first picked up the game I went straight for blue/red, but eventually Rakshasa Vizier and Delve (my favorite mechanic so far) caught my attention. I've been a fan of black/green, black/blue, and black/blue/green ever since. That being said, the only color I don't really like is white (spirits are cool, though.) I mostly make decks from what I pull from boosters. The cards I own that I didn't pull are from, in order of likelihood: a. A trade with or gift from a friend b. A local card shop's $1 box c. A trade with a local card shop d. A more expensive purchase from a local card shop (I must have really wanted that card) e. A purchase from an online card shop (it'll probably never happen)
