My name is Rahn, I started playing Magic the Gathering two summers ago my Friend playeralex8 bought the Sorin, Lord of Innistrad V.S Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded Dueldecks and asked me which I wanted. I had swiftly picked the Tibalt dueldeck, it didn't take me that long to fall in love with the mechanics of what little burn the deck had. I didn't know much about the game back then but I dedicated myself to watching my fellow Planeswalkers play against each other, to observe and learn. my friend told me about a certain Planeswalker he knew I would want..., Chandra Nalaar , very quickly I wanted to have one but none of the Chandra's were cycling through our group at the time except for the one my friend joey, I was saddened because I had just started playing and the cards I had was the dueldeck but once again playeralex8 pulled a fast one trading his planeswalker Karn Liberated and much more for Chandra, the Firebrand at first I was upset, I had thought he had traded for it to keep for himself but he turned and just handed it to me saying "it's your's" soon after I got myself a few booster packs to enhance my deck a bit. Then one day at our Gathering spot (Lol) we had a major duel...,9 players in all. I had managed to survive to late game playeralex8 had to drop out and the other had fallen in battle managing to play Congregate before he died to give me the life he could have used on himself. Once it become my turn I almost panicked but quickly kept my cool and took a look at my side of the field noticing that both Tibalt and my Chandra were both well more than able to pop off their final abilities. everybody's life was at 20 besides my own which was at 5, I -6 Tibalt taking control of their creatures, carefully I calculated the damage dealt to each of the 6 remaining opponents so they all would be at 6 life, After attacking I finally pop off Chandra perfectly killing everybody..., this was my first true win without having assistance. At the end of that summer I collected the rest of the Chandra's and became one of the top players in my guild. (The Penobscot Wizards).
