My second attempt at making a Thrasios // Kydele cEDH deck, this time with input from actual cEDH players!
I don't run very pricey cards like Power Artifact, Grim Monolith, Mox Diamond or Time Spiral but the deck functions fine without them. Wincon is obvious: go infinite with the myriad of infinite mana generators (of note are Scepter/Reversal, Umbral Mantle/Titania or Kydele, and Staff/Kydele), draw your entire deck with Thrasios, and win the game with Thassa's Oracle. Creatures like Spellseeker and spells like Muddle the Mixture and Drift of Phantasms are there to grab those win buttons and the vast array of counterspells present ensures that you are able to stop your opponents from popping off whilst protecting your combos. Goldfishing and labbing in my buddy's basement have yielded promising results, and I'd love input and recommendations.
As an aside, I've just begun my forays into cEDH, and it's been an absolute blast. I'm looking forward to many more high-powered and high-octane games of Magic, and this deck's journey, I feel, has just begun.
