"...because what kind of person doesn't like awesome custom profile art and purple usernames?" - Tha Xecutioner, TappedOut Decklord
I absolutely love building decks. Any deck, any size; they're all fun to build and to fine-tune. I currently have 84 decks built (some being draft decks), with a few more that are private and under construction.
I try to make decks that fall below the $80 mark because I'd like to be able to own each of these decks one day, and I'm not necessarily planning on entering many tournaments with these decks. I also try to have fun with the names of the decks, as naming something "Black Poison deck" is nowhere near as exciting as Somebody's Poisoned the Waterhole!.
I really enjoy the amount of feedback that I get with various decks, and there's a lot of good members on this site.
My emergence into Magic:
The first cards I ever got were from a 5th edition starter deck in 1997. However, these cards were forgotten about and I never played with them (or Magic, in general) until 2009. Oddly enough, the Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers game (for the Xbox 360) is what really got me hooked. When I realized how fun Magic was, I remembered about that 5th edition I was given as a kid and quickly began building decks and purchasing my own cards.
