I used to play with friends casually in the late 90's, then I took a very long hiatus when Mirrodin changed the landscape game. Thank to friends, I had started playing once again when Ixalan came out, with some initial surprise in seeing how much the game had evolved in the meantime.

I mostly play pre-release sealed, as well as some casual and relaxed games of EDH.

Flavour is a key component in the decks I have built, which are more often then not deliberately not really optimized, even though they can count on some spicy cards that I have acquired back in the good old days. Not having a regular playgroup, I try to build my decks so that they are balanced against each other and can be borrowed for a game session.
