Description

A list of combos (w/ descriptions) that I want to use or am currently using in EDH decks. These are not commonly used combos in competitive scenes, but they don't lack the effectiveness or efficiency most of those combos do. They are just more specialized.

  • This needs to be used in an enchantment-based deck as Starfield of Nyx need to be online.
  • Once Parallax Wave is a creature, exile up to four target creatures while holding priority.
  • Before any of these activations resolve, active Wave one more time targeting Wave.
  • Wave will blink and come back in as a creature will 5 counters.
  • You can let the original activations resolve now.
  • Those creatures will exile but not come back as their delayed trigger is looking for the original Wave, not the new one.
  • Alternatively, you can target Wave first and then any creatures that you wish to blink.
  • Whichever path you want to take, you can repeat this loop an arbitrary number of times.
  • Of note, you can tutor both of these pieces with Plea for Guidance.

  • Thought Lash can exile your entire library by activating it as many times as you need.
  • With that done, any lab-man-esque effect will win you the game.
  • These effects include the cards listed that aren't Thought Lash.
  • Alternatively, this can be used as a "tutor" for the creature piece of a Food Chain combo, but only if you already plan on running this combo.

  • Cast Mana Severance and exile all lands from your library.
  • Activated Goblin Charbelcher to reveal your whole library and dealing damage to one of your opponents.
  • Now, you can stack your deck exactly has you'd like it because Goblin Charbelcher instructs you to put the revealed cards back in any order.
  • Though is only takes out one player, having your deck in the exact order you'd like should allow you to win the game in very short order
