I've been playing magic for way too long and if you are seeking interesting ways to play the game this is the place to come. I like to make decks that interact with a stale format and win IE something that beats tier 1 decks. I've mastered Betcher and Goblins from Legacy and Can play most decks rather consistently, but what keeps me from playing 'pro' is the amount of downtime and concentration needed to make the right decisions. To put it simply, I lose games after playing for more than 4 hours because ADD is a thing.
