It's everything you want, in one deck. Ramp, counters, evasive fatties, you name it.
Anywhoo, I'm toying with the idea of running five colour control with the release of Khan's. Only problem is, every control deck I build is absolute crap. So here's my first draft. Obviously, when more cards are previewed I will update this list if necessary.
Let's just review our card choices here for a moment:
Tapped lands won't really help us, but the colour-fixing they provide is absolutely brilliant.
Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver can be played either early as a threat or after an Aetherspouts to steal what they decide to put back.
Elspeth, Sun's Champion isn't dead yet, despite what the fanboys say.
Savage Knuckleblade is a quintessential finisher. He lacks evasion, but makes up for it in resilience. Bounce him for blocks!
So here we stand, right at the cusp of a brand new era. Usher in a new age of five-colour goodness, and help me do it!
P.S. Chromanticore is sad he didn't make it in the first rough draft, but he'll get over it. There seems to be a lot of 4-toughness kill at the present time.
