I live in California, USA and MTG is my top game right now. At this point however, I strictly play Commander.

To me, magic is something of a role playing game. When I am considering my next deck, I look at affordability and power, but just as important is the flavor. If the theme doesn't feel right I'm just not going to be interested in playing with the deck.

I can remember being introduced to magic back in early 2000s. A friend of mine showed me how to play and I was so frustrated when he told me I couldn't block his creature because it had flying. I think it was a Storm Crow.
