It's not fishy... Something's been rotten in Denmark for far too long. I'm glad people are finally waking up to the corruption and market manipulation in this game. It's exactly why I have been slowly exiting for years.
I haven't heard any 2025 commander rumors but I don't doubt the scenario you are describing. Bigger scam than Magic 30 set... Here we come!!

Yeah I saw them as well. Something's fishy about all of this. I bet the rules committee told their friends ahead of time to dump the upcoming ban cards and buy up cards like Mana Vault. WOTC wants cards like Lotus and Crypt gone because they have something in the pipeline for 2025 to sell us in the new commander sets. It's 100% a scam

Just saw all the bannings. I'm kind of happy about it. Should slow down EDH a turn. Why did they print Jeweled Lotus in the first place? Crypt was always a Moxen in my eyes. Extortionist should have targeted a single opponent.

I may convert this into a deck that rushes Bolas's Citadel along with lots of mana rocks and Mana Severance to quickly cast my win condition all on one turn.

I'm considering changing the deck a bit more. Are there any non creature cards other than Transmute Artifact that you can think of where I can drop artifacts into play?

I forgot about Barbed Wire. Probably won't use it but I'll evaluate it. I'm going to make another update to this deck to support Exsanguinate better. Gonna ditch the Gates and add more fast mana. The deck is too slow now. Removing Planar Portal seemed to help a lot.

I decided not to use Cast Through Time I removed Planar Portal and have a new win condition Exsanguinate and an infinite mana generator in Isochron Scepter and Dramatic Reversal with a few mana rocks out.
