I started playing EDH in 2011 and am an active participant in the Chicago EDH scene. Building unique decks and supporting the philosophy that "fun > winning" are important to me. As the format becomes more popular and decks become more powerful, I try to advocate for janky/weird/aesthetic/experimental styles. These decks are the most fun and interesting, but I fear they are slowly being edged out of many playgroups.
