Deckling -

I'm the type of player who plays to have fun.

I enjoy a lot of different formats, but only play Paper and Duels. Standard, Modern, Limited, Casual. Modern or standard at the lgs. Commander, CanLander, Pauper Commander, or Jank Casual on the kitchen table.

I've been collecting off and for years. Portal and Tempest are the older boosters I remember buying in Highschool. Started playing FNM when the original Ravnica Block came out. My first good decks was a mono black Aggro build featuring creatures with shadow and Sword of Fire and Ice.

I have many more decks than are listed here. I just find it a bit cumbersome to add them in here, especially any singleton formats. I've amassed a fairly large collection of cards over the years and buying collections has been my favorite way to acquire cards. I buy singles too, but not the expensive ones, I normally try to trade into more expensive cards or just forgo them if I can. My most valuable card is a copy of The Abyss, which I traded a bunch of cards for.

Black is my favorite color. Blue and green would be my first options for adding a second color. But I'll play any color(s) if I enjoy the deck. I value synergy and value over combos and believe interactive magic is the best form. This leads me to play a lot of midrange style builds.
