Deckling -

An avid MTG fan who used to play in highschool back in the early 90s, peaked with Ice Age, and slowly petered out post 2000.

Getting back into the game, and catching up with lots of missed context. I've discovered I'm a "Janky-Johnny" at heart, finding it a personal mission to use cards that would otherwise be dismissed, creating complex, clever combos (that sometimes lead nowhere), or just revelling in flavourful concept decks that are consistent in theme — playing for fun, moreso than competitively!

I only play in paper, and I'm not familiar with the various formats, Legacy, Standard, Modern, etc, as it's mostly a Dandân-and-Goat-meta dominating the local rural Quebec scene where I'm currently living.
