Deckling -

I am a long time Magic: The Gathering player but I frequently stop because of some reason. My last return to Magic is a few months after M14. I enjoyed the Guilds or Ravnica and even of I'm mostly a mono black kinda guy, I fell in love with the Azorius guild. Well mainly because of Lavinia of the Tenth. While waiting for Theros, I found myself looking into other guild. That's when I found Gruul. This guild took me back to my early days of Magick where red/green goblin/sbrybs agro decks was the "meta". This was way back when the word "meta" was not yet discovered.

I love creating decks. And I usually defer from the "meta". For example, I know how good AEterling is but I cannot find a way to fit him in my Azorius deck. Sometimes I base my deck on one creature or idea and find a way to make it work. I know sometimes it leads me to a less competitive deck but I love it when all things fit together. Like for example my Got your back man!. Some says that Spire Tracer is not a good creature to play, but in this deck, she slips trough defenses nicely.

My love for Magic also extends to Magic art, Magic concepts and, well, Magic cards. I collect Angel creatures, when I can afford them. I mean, I may not use them in any of my deck but I still collect them. Recently, while looking at singles in a local card shop, I found my newest favorite card. A one red to cast, 1/1, get this, TRAMPLE! What use does a guy have for trample if he's just a 1/1 creature. But I guess it makes sense when you read his flavor text. Here he is, the latest card to reside on my breast pocket, (yes, I put my current "cardcrush" on my breast pocket and even brings it work).... Goblin Gaveleer
