Counter stuff, and when you do, make sure you do your best Al Borland impression by saying "I don't think so, Tim..." Or not, but it sure keeps me entertained.
Step 1: Build up devotion by putting blue guys on the board, saccing them for utility ONLY when you really need to.
Step 2: Try to get a Patron Wizard online ASAP.
Step 3: If you have a Vedalken Aethermage you haven't used it, prime targets are Azami, Lady of Scrolls or Prophet of Kruphix to take control of the game.
Step 4: Once you have control of the game, tutor up (or dig through Azami) for 1 of the 2 win cons in the deck, Oona, Queen of the Fae or Memnarch.
I'm testing this still, but I'm considered axing the Magus of the Future for another Prophet, or possibly something a bit lower in the curve. I would like to have 3 Prophets in here though, I just need to buy another one.
Glen Elendra Archmage is a one-of because that's all I own right now. Not sure it's worth keeping in as a single... there is a mini-combo with Riptide Laboratory, but it's not like I ever go tutoring/digging for it. It's just a good card filling a slot at the moment.
Venser, Shaper Savant and Vendilion Clique are, like the Archmage above, solid cards and also have synergy the Riptide Lab. Being legendary, I know that I would want to increase these numbers. They're strong cards, no doubt, but in Multiplayer games, maybe I could "go bigger".
