Wood Elemental and Sorrow's Path are on pretty much every list of "worst M:tG cards ever". Anything you do with them is going to be gimmicky and flex-y at best, and self-defeating at (the much more likely) worst.
Allure of the Unknown has a proud place in my Rakdos group hug deck.
Prophecy and Goblin Sappers are overcosted/underproductive and have better options. There's nothing really strictly better, but if you're paying to make a creature unblockable for a turn and then lose it, you had better be winning the game right there--do you want to sacrifice it for some reason? If so, is there a better sac outlet? The delayed draw is generally going to be the best part of Propechy. Sideboard if you're playing in a scry- or top-deck-tutor-heavy meta and want some style points.
Winter Sky is unreliable and doesn't offer enough to build around. 1 damage to everything is fine for , and cheap drawing is good, but the player symmetry and randomness reduce its utility.
Asmodeus the Archfiend and The Toymaker's Trap are more fun than powerful, but they're still solid. They can be good build-around support for casual decks. I would say these are the best options if you want to put your brewing hat on.
This doesn't mean that these cards can't or shouldn't be used--if they look fun to you, go for it! But it's going to be hard to optimize most of them because they have a lot of hoops to jump through or just don't do anything worth doing.

Knowledge Pool + High Noon/Rule of Law/something like that is a hard lock. Cast a spell, exile it, can't cast the replacement spell because you already cast your spell for the turn.
Or just put it in a chaos deck and make a big mess.

I don't have uses for the other cards unfortunately. I'll list the combo in an accordion below:
This combo requires that both Nexus and Mirror be in your graveyard, and that Osgir is not summoning sick.
Main Line
Step 1/Turn 1
-
Acivate Osgir, creating 2 copies of Ugin's Nexus. One of the copies will automatically die to the Legend Rule,
-
The 2nd Nexus will be sacrifcied to Osgir's 1st ability (or additional free sac-outlet)
-
Pass turn with 2 extra turns remaining.
Step 2/Turn 2 (Extra Turn 1)
-
Activate Osgir, creating two copies of Mirror of Fate.
-
Activate the first copy of Mirror of Fate, moving your library into exile.
-
Activate the 2nd copy of Mirror. Return in order from bottom to top: Mirror of Fate, Filler card, Ugin's Nexus, *Codex Shredder
*Codex Shredder on the first iteration, filler card on each iteration afterwards.
Step 3/Turn 3 (Extra Turn 2) 1. Draw Codex Shredder using your draw step.
-
Play Codex Shredder and activate it targeting yourself to mill Ugin's Nexus.
-
Proceed to loop from Turn 1.
This will create a finite loop that can be repeated for as many iterations as you have filler cards to insert into the Mirror pile, HOWEVER, you can convert it into a true infinite loop by piling in a card that can exile your own graveyard, such as Tormod's Crypt. Codex Shredder can also be substituted for any way to get Ugin's Nexus into the graveyard without it entering the battlefield.
If you do have a loop going, Blind Obedience can be added to Extort the table as means to win through loops, without necessarily having to rely on beats.
Line Minus Osgir
This line eliminates the need for Osgir, making it ideal for situations where there is a Drannith Magistrate in play or if Osgir has been removed.
Prerequisites: Goblin Welder in play and not summoning sick, Mirror of Fate in graveyard, Ugin's Nexus in hand.
TURN 1: 1. Cast Ugin's Nexus.
-
Activate Goblin Welder, sacrificing Ugin's Nexus and returning Mirror of Fate. Ugin's Nexus will go to exile as a replacement effect.
-
Activate Mirror of Fate, sacrificing it and replacing your library with Ugin's Nexus.
-
Pass turn with one extra turn remaining, and repeat from Turn 1.

Hi! I can tell by the way you speak and by the cards you considered that you really love this deck! Glad to hear your playgroup enjoys it. I had never heard of Thieves' Auction before, and it looks absolutely wild. It’s fairly affordable too. Forced Fruition is another great addition too. As for as other forms of randomization, it’s too bad coin flipping has never been that good in MTG (otherwise I would recommend some coin flippage). Had you considered Mind's Dilation, Well of Ideas Grip of Chaos, Cultural Exchange, Storm Cauldron, or Shared Fate?

A couple of years ago, I used to run a commander deck helmet by Osgir, the Reconstructor. It featured a combo loop using Mirror of Fate + Ugin's Nexus to do a kind of Doomsday pile turns loop.
I can copy/paste the combo loop description if you're interested. Not sure if that's what you might be looking for.

Honestly, I think that the only “fair” companions are Umori, the Collector and Lutri, the Spellchaser based off of how much worse it makes your deck. I’m expecting all companions banned except for these two eventually. Looting deserved an unban.

sergiodelrio I kinda need your input now that B&R has made Mox Opal relevant again. Can i get away with using Deserted Temple here a bit more effectively or do I need to use a different land? I'm trying to get the most out of this mana-base, for sure. Right now I am using Zhalfirin Void as a reputable utility spot and a placeholder. Urza, Master of the Multiverse
Legendary Planeswalker - Urza
Affinity for Planeswalkers
+2 Draw a card for each Planewalker you control, then discard that many cards minus one.
0 Create a 2/2 Human wizard token with "This creature gets +1/+1 for each Planeswalker you control.
-5 Destroy all non-token creatures
-12 Search your library, graveyard, and hand for up to two planewalker cards, put them on the battlefield, then shuffle. Then double the number of loyalty counters on each other Planewalker you control.
6
I don't think this does Urza justice, but its strong and flavorful, especially for the later parts of his life, with the Nine Titans.
Make another one of Urza's Nine Titans. If you don't know the full list, you can find it here https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Nine_Titans

The "default" would be what you're used to, that tokens created by a normal token-making effect don't have a mana cost and therefore have a mana value - previously called "converted mana cost" - of zero. Tokens created by copy effects are an exception to that "default" because copy effects use special rules (and apparently Embalm uses even more special rules for whatever reason).

Profet93: glad you like the deck and as for my thoughts on your suggestions, the changeling idea while not bad doesn’t really do much for the main theme of the deck: lands matter/landfall. The moonfolk return lands to hand for me to dump back into play for landfall triggers.
-
Overburden: I already run the superior version of it, Mana Breach
-
Riptide Laboratory: I actually just added that to the maybe list the other day.
-
Sunder: I run Storm Cauldron for the opponents return lands to hand effect.
-
Buried Ruin is a really good idea. I already run Academy Ruins, a little extra recursion is a great idea.
-
Sapphire Medallion is another good one will have to try working in.
And as far as replacing half my snow covered lands I gotta keep ‘em all snow for the Extraplanar Lens. Its ability works for both players. Not everyone runs snow lands and with the lens out all my snow lands tap for an additional U while my opponents non snow islands will still only tap for one. All good suggestions though not all work for this deck, at least with how I play it.

Companion really isn't working out for anything. Yorion, Sky Nomad and Lurrus of the Dream-Den welcome Jegantha, the Wellspring to the land of the Modern lost.
Reanimator's gotten a lot of new toys since Faithless Looting got banned, especially in MH2. I'd like to see it float back up the ranks a little bit. I suppose it would be too much for another Golgari Grave-Troll unban? That worked really well last time, right? I'm sure it'll be fine. What's the worst that could happen? There's a lot of options for graveyard hate right now, especially that Surgical Extraction, and Rest in Peace and Leyline of the Void can still be viable when they're needed. Graveyard-omancy is so hard right now...
I'm interested to see Psychic Frog survive. Not super surprised, but I had it at an outside chance of being banned. It's very color-restricted, but it's been a good engine for several decks. I feel like it's right at the top line for Modern utility.

Okay so here's a fun one.
Make Urza as a Planeswalker with the following restrictions:
- His casting cost must be . You are allowed to give him cost reduction such as affinity for artifacts.
- He must have 1 static ability, such as cost reduction, and 4 other loyalty abilities that are justifiable for that mana value
- That said, he must be actually printable. This means all text must be able to fit onto a real card. So keep that in mind while wording him
- Lastly, his ultimate should win you the game without just saying "You win the game."

Thanks Sungod, I could see the need for another Gary-esque effect. I have Marionette Apprentice as a potential addition, also since I have Treasures as a slight support theme. In that vein, Whip of Erebos could be cool with some of the different pingers in the 99.
I've also been considering adding Sheoldred, Whispering One as a swap with one of my 5 or 6 drops. I could see Whip of Erebos being a potential swap with The Ozolith.

Haw you tried scryfall? https://scryfall.com/search?q=keyword%3Areach&unique=cards&as=gridℴ=name gives all of the creatures with reach.
Also, I personally use Scryfall as the Gatherer is blocked on my school Chromebook. Also, you can set it to search for a specific character with https://scryfall.com/search?q=lore%3Ajace&unique=cards&as=gridℴ=name, I did Jace. It will search all text for that word. Same with flavor text with https://scryfall.com/search?q=flavor%3Achandra&unique=cards&as=gridℴ=name.
https://scryfall.com/docs/syntax shows exactly how to search for it, and https://scryfall.com/advanced is the easy way to to it.

I'll definitely be abusing Green Sun's Zenith while it is legal though.

I think the two big winners from this announcement are Amulet Titan and Mill.
Titan is already at/near the top of the meta, and Green-Suns gives it another tool to be more reliable/obnoxious. A LOT of cards are already on the banlist for Titans sins, so this feels super dicey.
With Faithless Lootings return, there’s likely going to be a lot more decks trying to do something nonsense with their graveyard, and mill runs mainboard Surgical Extraction to punish those plans. Looting also plays into strategies that encourage dumping swaths of your own deck into the graveyard, which is also just doing Mills job for it.
