Hi!
Truthfully I've never played a lands deck, but in general when deckbuilding and cutting cards I would start with those that would be the most difficult to cast or have limited upside. How easy do you find it to cast Deprive? If you feel getting to double by turn 2 is inconsistent that might be a place to start. Also it seems like you're playing at sorcery speed anyway when ramping. Do you feel like holding up countermagic is typically better than just playing Explore? If so you may want to go with the Growth Spiral in your maybeboard over Explore because that allows you to hold up interaction on your opponent's turn and still ramp if they don't cast anything worthwhile.
If you find yourself not able to take full advantage of your creature etbs, that could mean either take away some etbs or add more ways to get lands into your hand depending on which way you want to go with it.
If for example you removed 4 Deprive and one Crop Rotation, you now have 5 extra slots to put lands into your hand, so you could add additional Winding Way or possibly Mulch.
Alternatively there are creatures like Floriferous Vinewall or Gatecreeper Vine if you would prefer to have an earlier presence rather than focusing on card quantity. Although admittedly these creatures are only there to block 1 power creatures.
The deck looks fun though!

I have a deck similar to this except I’m in mardu colors. Just wanna offer a few suggestions from my list that would definitely fit in here.
- Michiko Konda, Truth Seeker
- Aurification
- Boros Fury-Shield
- Comeuppance
- Eye for an Eye
- Harsh Justice
- Mirror Strike
- Reflect Damage
- Windborn Muse
- Sphere of Safety
- Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs gives you instant blockers if they don’t pay
- Kor Haven
- Eldrazi Displacer can blink opponents attackers removing them from combat.
- Phyrexian Vindicator
I have a bunch of other similar card ideas that fit the theme as well but I’ll stop here for now. If you wanna hear the rest of them let me know. +1ed

The deck's thematic core (cards recycling) is card advantage so I can cut down on other card advantage cards. However I still need to get cards to the graveyard to make reanimation relevant.
Likewise I discovered it is very mana greedy. One way to handle that is with Awakening and Seedborn Muse (and other mana multipliers) as long as I keep flash and don't accidentally ramp out of theme range and into wincon range. Villainous Wealth costs 10+ mana but is not a concern. Exsanguinate costs 22+ mana. So I want to ramp to 10-15 mana rather than to 20+ mana. A single doubler should be fine and I will have higher prioritizes than finding another doubler (probably avoid Nyxbloom).
Reminder, tutors and recusion can help lower the card count for specific effects. Dictate of Karametra + Awakening might be the smallest multiplier package I could run.

Since you're running more than 1/4 of the deck of Relentless Rats, I'd highly recommend you include a Thrumming Stone along with a couple staple Black tutors

The way I've seen other people run decks like this are more streamlined. I would take out a few time stretch and dream halls because of how efficient atraxa and maelstrom wanderer are and replace them with some countermeasures.

Thanks for the suggestions! I really like Winding Way especially. Ghostly Flicker I'm not as sure on, but you're absolutely right it would work really well with Coiling Oracle and Archaeomancer, but if I added both I'd turn this into a more familiars type of list with your suggestions and cut back on the lands.
In testing on modo I've found that I almost have too many additional land effects in the deck, so I guess I could start there when looking to fit in Winding Way at least. Do you have any suggestions on cards to cut? It feels tight even though I'm still brewing around with it. While I said earlier that I may have too many additional land effects in the deck, Arboreal Grazer gives me great ground game against red.

I have been debating adding in sections for enchantment creatures as well as artifact creatures. I think I might start though now, and I'll add Argothian Enchantress under enchantment creatures.

Argothian Enchantress and Wirewood Savage might qualify for inclusion under the Tribal subcategory. Not sure how prevalent Enchantment creatures and Beasts are in EDH, but maybe somebody might find them useful.

Balaam__ Not quite, Beast Whisperer like effects are what I am focusing on. I am going to add Cryptbreaker to the maybeboard though because you could use it to turn every third zombie spell into a Beast Whisperer like effect. Prophet of Distortion's card draw is an activated ability that you have to sink mana into and isn't tied to casting creatures.

i totally understand needing to put a hold on some cards for the sake of how expensive they are lol. in my case chatterfang is the only deck i have that would be able to use parallel lives or doubling season which i already had so they got slotted in. i got lucky a while ago pulling an old gnawbone which is the only reason ive got him in there too. the idea that you dont want to help your opponents with yavimaya makes sense, but i suppose that also comes down to your playgroup. ive only got a few friends i play with and only one of them runs a green deck. at that point yavimaya doesnt really do anything for him anyway cuz its a landfall deck and he's got his mana fix figured out immediately anyway.

Hi, how about playing Lands, like Path of Ancestry or Sliver Hive? You could as well play The First Sliver, with is also a great commander in my sliver deck. What I really like in 5Color Sliver Decks is Bring to Light, it will get you any Sliver you need, including the 5 Colored Sliver Legends or even removal or a Patriarch's Bidding.

Update 11/14/24: - Traded out Sad Robot (solemn simulacrum) for Jeska's Will. Jeska's Will is more explosive, you can get immediate mana and cards wehre as sad robot land enters tapped adn card draw when he dies. Jeskas will can choose ramp or card draw - or both if the commander is on the field
- Traded out mountain for Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep , gives access to first strike for on red mana and does not enter tapped.

Dragons are big enough you don't need Crucible of Fire. I ran it for the longest time but trust me you don't need it. You also should run Cultivate, Farseek, Nature's Lore and Kodama's Reach. Birds of Paradise is good too. Ramp and a good mana base is the best thing for Dragons. Get your commander out turn 3-4 and you'll probably win the game.

Hi!
This is a neat idea, have you considered adding Winding Way? It might be a good way to dig for more lands or your creatures. Something else to consider might also be flicker effects such as Ghostly Flicker which could allow you to flicker your creature etbs and allow you to add multiple additional lands to the field (it would also work if you decided to add the Coiling Oracle in your maybe board). Maybe add in Archaeomancer while you're at it if that's a style you might want to play.
Again it's a very neat idea, good luck brewing!

This is all just initial thoughts from a cursory glance, but I’m thinking Rite of Replication is going to be tough to cast, and pulling enough mana together for the Kicker cost is a bit steep to rely on. How about something like Mirrorweave instead? It’s tagged at the same cmc as Nanogene Conversion, casts at Instant speed, and makes all creatures effigies just like Nanogene Conversion (and unlike Rite of Replication).

May I suggest using The Unspeakable not only is it a spirit with a 9 mana cost, bit it also nets your Goryo's Vengeance back to your hand to reuse. Extra utility that would allow more reanimation. Nice deck!

multimedia on Exploding Kobolds

Hey, interesting deck.
Consider adding green? By adding green you get Glimpse of Nature, Noxious Revival, Elvish Spirit Guide. Glimpse and Revival go well together to keep casting Glimpse. Guide provides a green mana source without needing a land that can make green. Green also has Assault Formation, not needing an anthem effect to increase Kobolds power since only toughness matters. With 4x Glimpse you would only need 1x Formation as well as some kind of haste for all your creatures source such as Burst of Speed that you cast after casting all your Kobolds for the turn. With 4x Glimpse, 1x Grapeshot is all you need.
Stomping Ground, Karplusan Forest, Copperline Gorge can be dual lands that could replace Mountains? Lotus Petal and/or Wild Cantor, replacing some Mountains gives you a mana source of any color while also counting towards storm. The problems with Impact Tremors and Purphoros, God of the Forge are they need to be on the battlefield before you start casting Kobolds. In theory Tremors/Purphoros seem good, but in gameplay they seem slow, too inconsistent hit or miss.
Consider this package for upgrades?
- 4x Glimpse of Nature
- 4x Elvish Spirit Guide
- 2x Noxious Revival
- 4x Lotus Petal or 4x Wild Cantor
- 1x Assault Formation
- 1x Burst of Speed
- 4x Stomping Ground or Karplusan Forest
- 4x Copperline Gorge
Good luck with your deck.

Thoughts so far:
Winding Canyons might be an interesting fit here, but not at $23
I'm really tempted to put in Fires of Mount Doom. It's a scary good fit for this deck, but I can't stand Universes Beyond.
I miss Prossh and Rohgahh, but the deck might be more efficient without them.
Is Icon of Ancestry the best general buff for my kobolds? I don't want to spend $25 on Coat of Arms, Vanquisher's Banner and Banner of Kinship might be too much mana, and Stoneforge Masterwork only buffs one creature at a time. Door of Destinies might be an interesting compromise but Obelisk of Urd is a hard no.
Does this really need four Grapeshots?
Possibility Storm: can it work?

Hello Rasaru, sorry for the very late reply. I have not been on Tapped Out in a very long time.
There is no new addition to the deck because I stopped maintaining it. Essentially it is a small primer for anyone looking to build a simple zombie token deck.
The only real thing to do is improve the individual pieces as sets come out, like better draw engines or zombies. I am sorry I don't have anything exciting to add for you.
