OMG, another mistake in my deck list Sword of Body and Mind should be Sword of Hearth and Home!!!

I just built it so haven't gotten to play it a whole lot but yeah those are all great ideas. I def need to add some fetches to it though. I feel like I have to many play additional land effects so might take a couple of those out too.

I found another mistake, my deck was coming up one card short. Sram, Senior Edificer was still in there. Add it back and I'm at 100 cards. Processing error!

I realized that I had moved Sword of Body and Mind out of the 99. This card synergizes with both Aurelia and Godo. Equip the sword on any other creature and you get infinite attacks (akin to Helm of the Host). I had a tough time deciding what to take out and decided on swapping out Mizzium Mortars. I really like this card for the 1-sided wraith effects and I always want at least two wraiths in my deck, but find that hordes of small creatures are less of a problem then one big one. And I still have Blasphemous Act and Pyrohemia, so keeping instant speed spot removal has priority (and I don't want to drop it any lower than it already is).

But there are other cards on the "chopping block", which include: Nahiri, the Lithomancer (I've literally never drawn this in a game but it's there primarily for the -2) or possibly Nahiri, Forged in Fury (again I cannot ever recall drawing this in game). We'll see.

Oo this is cool, I love Chittering Rats so to see him properly abused here looks fun. This would slow the opponent down soo much. And the Pauper fact is some extra spice on top. Well done

Force Spike is also a great card, I was surprised to learn recently that it's an actual Legacy card and not Modern legal. Still allowed in Pauper tho, hadn't considered that.

It would appear you intend to run two commanders simultaneously, despite neither having Partner or Partners With, is that correct?

Does your group allow that type of interaction?

ahh i actually just read that collective voyage would not trigger idol.... there might be other cards that do. It still might be worth adding though, and search for other cards that have an effect with landfall like Gitrog, Horror of Zhava

If this is a Agent deck I would think you really wanna build around spells that maximize his potency.

Orzhov Charm as protection, or threat destruction. Mourning for recurring targeting, as well as to nerf opponents attackers, Whip Silk for the same, Kaya's Ghostform

Im not sure what youre trying to do with the landfall triggers, but if you want to maximize that get some cards like Field of the Dead and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove in there, as well as 1-2 Scapeshift as a wincon for cards like Dread Presence, etc.. Again this is assuming youre using landfall triggers and not just ramping mana. If youre just ramping id opt for dark rituals. Speaking of Dark ritual, you need 3 mana carddraw like Phyrexian Arena. I see the idol produces some for you, but also for your opponents.... that can be dangerous unless you have a way to limit their card draw.

Assassin's Trophy is almost a must add with all the land ramp, or Field of Ruin at minimum. Pir's Whim is also good in this deck context, as well as Collective Voyage, just a game wrecker with landfall triggers.

So thats what I kind of see here is like an agent/landfall theme. idol, plus massive landramp via voyage, and lotus cobra, then youre pretty much casting your deck and pissing people off haha

Deserted Temple - Untap coffers + politics

Three Visits/Nature's Lore > Rampant Growth

Nissa's Pilgrimage > Cultivate

I would add 1-2 more fetches to trigger your landfall additional times.

Ulvenwald hydra is one of my fav's but with only cradle and maybe castle as targets, I'm unsure if it's warranted. What has your experience been with it?

I get the idea is to play a lot of lands and do green things. Given you only run 35 lands, do you feel you have enough draw to maintain momentum?

Shamanic Revelation might be helpful given you go wide. Rishkar's Expertise is amazing for this deck. Also, Tooth and Nail seems great here. Perhaps even a Traverse the Outlands?

Boseiju, Who Endures > Forest

Yavimaya Hollow - Regen + Politics

Specific changes. All of these changes optimize card draw, tutoring, protection to board state, create synergies and infinite combos, and optimization to allow instant speed responses.

OUT: Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist (thought this would be awesome, disappointed in performance) Assemble the Players (sub-optimal card draw) Aurelia's Fury Bitterthorn, Nissa's Animus (land drops have not been a problem and by the time I draw it, I needed something else) Brimaz, King of Oreskos (love this guy, but had to cut) Chained to the Rocks Elbrus, the Binding Blade  Flip (obtained better equipment) Fellwar Stone Hixus, Prison Warden (never happy when I had this in hand because you need to let the damage land, plus you fail to build board state when waiting to draw a punch) Illusionist's Bracers (I realized there was little in this deck that this could help) Kemba, Kha Enduring (I want the option of where the equipment goes) Kjeldoran Outpost (did help create a chump blocker and spend unused mana, but I didn't like losing the land) Lapse of Certainty (replaced with better options, but I love this card) Lightning Helix Path of Mettle  Flip (never had good results) Prophetic Flamespeaker (under-performed) Puresteel Paladin (tough cut) Purphoros, God of the Forge (under-performed) Rogue's Passage Sea Gate Wreckage Silverblade Paladin (love this guy, tough cut) Sram, Senior Edificer (very tough and recent cut for Leonin Shikari and Merry, who are just better but I may put back in) Sword of the Animist (land drops have not been a problem and by the time I draw it, I needed something else) Wingmate Roc (love it but under-performed)

In: Esper Sentinel (card draw) Leonin Shikari (instant speed equiping is amazing) Merry, Esquire of Rohan (card draw) Enlightened Tutor (great for combos/synergies) Sigarda's Aid (so great) Pyrohemia (this card is a beast with Iroas! Even without Iroas must people don't have easy ways to deal with enchantments and this is a wraith on a stick. I've added it to all of my red decks and it's cousin (Pestilence) to my black decks in a slot I would normally hold for a wraith) Teferi's Protection (protect the board state) Excalibur, Sword of Eden Fighter Class (tutor!) Angelic Skirmisher (lifelink to stretch game and facilitates infinite combos) Splendor Mare (put it on Reckoner or Spitemare, give them indestructable, and gain infinite life, or move it to pyrohemia with nesting grounds to get massive amounts of life as you flamethrower the whole table!!) Mask of Avacyn (better option then shroud from boots, you need to be able to dynamically react/voltron) Mob Rule (this just finishes games) Smothering Tithe (ramp) Sunforger (some say you must build around this, I say you use this as a key tutor for when you need an instant) Nesting Grounds Spitemare The One Ring (card draw, duh) Minas Tirith (card draw) Sunhome, Fortress of the Legion (value engine, mana dump) Phyrexian Vindicator (beefy flier, helps get Iroas online, and difficult to remove) War of the Last Alliance (tutor) Hall of Heliod's Generosity (bring back pyrohemia and flamethrower the world all over again!!) Mask of Memory (card draw) Boromir, Warden of the Tower (protect board state)

Updated this deck extensively based on EDH play at my LGS. Foremost, I have swapped commanders: Iroas, God of Victory *list* is now the commander and Akiri is within the 99. I have had great success with this deck and won several times against pods with very good players. Very happy with it's performance and will updte the main description soon.

Hyunkel on High Moon (Boros Werewolves Midrange)

Thanks, I've basically tried to make it so that night never turns to day without you manually doing it for removal with Brutal Cathar  Flip, the biggest weakness of werewolves is that they're all pretty mid, during the day, and it's very easy for an opponent to just play two spells a turn, there's also nothing really preventing them to remove your creatures before they can transform, but this style of deck, hopefully, achieves it by dragging the games for longer and longer while also accelerating your werewolves and letting them stay in their transformed state, which is, I think, the biggest thing for them, if they're ever going to do anything at all on the board. All things considered, if one or two of your puppies can stick on the field, you're pretty much in a winning position, already.

Bouncer's Beatdown is a great kill spell for this deck because it's green, so people wont be particularly expecting it. The downside is you will have to have your commander out when you cast it or it'll be just about useless. All the soulbond creatures are a good way to do voltron while having blocks. I really like the idea of giving your commander undiying and then sacrificing him essentially for free. Indomitable Might Literally designed for this commander. Such a easy win con. You should add some sort of X spell such as Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate so you have somthing to do with all the mana you'll get from Tanuki Transplanter. I'll let you know if i have any other cards to add, but so far Fear Rogue's Passage Dryad's Favor are the only cards i can think of right now that give him unblockable. Hope you aren't planing to keep two copies of Garruk, primal hunter and O-Naginata in there (;

Cool deck! Unfortunately MTG commander has something called color identity, meaning you can only run cards of the same colors as your commander, so red cant fit in this deck and remain legal. There are a lot of great Naya commanders though! (Naya is the name for the Red-Green-White color pairing)

You’re running quite a few creatures, so a commander like Mayael the Anima or Atla Palani, Nest Tender Would work great! I know it doesn’t quite stick to the avengers theme, but they’re great commanders.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you’ve got any questions :)

I have suggestions for your land base: 1x Barren Moor 1x Forgotten Cave 1x Raucous Theatre 2x Rakdos bounce land.

The first two for when you are top decking and draw a land you don’t need.

The 3rd because you can fetch for it with Bloodstained Mire, and if you don’t have a play turn 1, you can fetch for this and make your first turn more productive.

The 4th is for using the first three again if you top deck it later. I think it’s also useful in the case of a starting hand with 2 lands, as it will still get you to 3 mana. Perhaps in place of the Graven Cairns. I run a few decks with low mana curves, so I end up running 19 or less lands, and I’m really starting to appreciate these bounce lands more!

Zeddicuus on The Progenitus Project.

Recently tweaked list. This is a very early prototype, but overall it shows what I am trying to do.

Typically trying for a lot of land ramp and a means to fix colours, while using a lot of interaction to keep the board under control until Progenitus is ready to make his appearance.

Still considering different avenues for card draw. A few more would definitely be handy. With roughly 23 cards for interaction, I think I could sacrifice a couple more and a couple ramp/colour fix to fill out the card draw.

I have other ideas of stuff to consider adding, such as:

Concentrated Effort & Odric, Lunarch Marshal - This would let me share keywords with all my creatures, and with Progenitus hitting the table they would all get Protection from Everything.

Sire of Seven Deaths - A fatty who has 6 keywords to potentially share with the other creatures. Definitely worth considering.

Suggestions are always welcome! I'm looking for ways to either make Progenitus a very real threat, or cards that can use him somehow to do crazy things. Warstorm Surge comes to mind as an example. Ways to speed him out faster is definitely welcome.

In a tournament setting, this is a weird enough situation where a Judge's ruling will depend a lot on exactly how much they know about the detailed shortcut rules, how they interpret those rules, and how well each player makes the case for their point of view. Since I'm not that Judge answering that real-life call, I don't know what to say there. In a non-tournament setting where the players can't come to an agreement on how to take shortcuts and what rules apply, the game just breaks down and the win/lose/draw results depend on how each player tells the story to their friends later.

Sure but since any shortcut system they use is acceptable, Obeka's opponents do not need to agree to the fragmented loop shortcut system and are not forced by the rules to end their turn during any particular iteration of Obeka's ability resolving. Thus if the Obeka controller continues to take actions that execute the loop, the only formal rules that could apply would be tournament guidelines regarding slow play.

capwner, definitely agree I need some more protection in the deck. Luckily with 39 unblockable creatures in the list, I've got a bit of wiggle room to eat a board wipe or two (hopefully). But Heroic Intervention is an easy add for sure.
Reliquary Tower is also a pretty easy add, not sure why I didn't think to put it in before.
Toski was on my radar, but I decided to stick firm to the restriction of ALL creatures in the deck being unblockable. (The Indomitable is already pushing the boundaries there as a vehicle lol).
I think I might consider subbing out a couple of cards to get some counterspells or other protection in there as well. Some boots might be nice for some reusable spot removal protection.

Rhadamanthus on The Rules Say It Works

Yes, they're "largely" informal because they don't need to be formal 100% of the time to cover the run-of-the-mill situations players will go through during a game. However, for more complicated situations the CR also provides a formalized framework in 729.2 to help sort out technical rules issues. This is a technical rules discussion, so we need the help.

Sections 729.1, 729.2, 729.3 etc. aren't in opposition to each other and they don't do anything to cancel each other out. They're all needed to fill out the complete picture of how the rules work.

king-saproling on The Rules Say It Works

But Rhadamanthus, the shortcut rules are informal:

729.1a The rules for taking shortcuts are largely informal. As long as each player in the game understands the intent of each other player, any shortcut system they use is acceptable.

The procedure you laid out does not need to be accepted or followed.
